THE BIG CLEANSE↴![]() As the carnival recovers, the Ringmaster has brought it to the gates of a famous interdimensional bathhouse to rest. She won't be joining you for most of it, though she will be checking in frequently and available by radio. She's fixed a large portion of the Silver Mirror after it shattered, but it seems like pieces are missing. She doesn't want to rest until the missing shards are dealt with, and the Mirror itself is locked away safely. ► YOUR OTHER HALF: The shards missing from the Silver Mirror didn't just disappear - after breaking apart in Eden, fragments of the object embedded themselves in the spirits of those not already touched by its powers, and those that had been the most fae-touched. That means, your characters. The effect of this, explained in more detail on the plotting post, is that some characters will be splitting into two versions of themselves: the Light, and the Dark. This doesn't mean good and evil, of course, it's far more complicated than that. Splits can start happening at any time after arriving in Shabon, and initially characters won't know how to rejoin with their twins. Later on, it will become apparent that they need to reconnect via the shard of the Mirror they share... of course, in order to rejoin, you have to have both halves, and not all twins will be as eager to go back to the way things were before. This plot point is optional. ► SPA DAY: When you're not engaging in metaphysical division, you are free to enjoy the many luxuries that Shabon offers. Things will mostly have an east-Asian bend, like what you would see in the movie Spirited Away, but as long as it doesn't affect the setting much, you can honestly have whatever spa-type services available that you want. Food is served both in restaurants and 'buffet' style. There are also well paid sex workers here, if that is your thing, but make sure to tip well. ► FESTIVAL TOWN: The city surrounding Shabondamashii is largely meant to catch the business of interdimensional tourists. There are frequent parades and other events held, and the architecture is very closely packed. It's easy to get lost if you leave the bathhouse, but it's definitely worth it if you like party. You can pick out a few outfits for yourself and some fun nick nacks, but nothing that would normally require mod approval. |

"It is soft only once, not five times..." That's a round about way of saying they have five forms they can take at the moment, so.

After a pause, he inclines his head. "Or ya can keep 'em for the memories. There's nothin' wrong with bein' sentimental, when ya can afford it. Of course, we could just buy a bunch for yerself if not yer daemon~."
no subject
"We require OTHER TREASURES..!" Souvenirs, they mean souvenirs. Either way.
"I don't know how much I can buy..."
no subject
"Pick out your most favorite yukata, just for yerself. That one, ya have ta buy no matter what." It only feels right, after all. They seem to be one of the most eyecatching things about this place, and it'd be a shame if everyone else had one but she didn't. "Then, we'll go around some of this place, and see what different treasures there are. We won't buy any, we'll just see what there is. With me so far?"
no subject
Anyway. The idea of picking favorites is assuredly not helping. If anything Reira finds herself a bit on the spot, and she looks nervously at the piles and piles of fabrics. After all.
"...How do we know if it's the favorite though..?"
They should probably team up on this.

"Why don't we make a list of things you see that you like? And then we'll match them up against each other. If you like that book more than that trinket, on and on like that. Then, we'll figure out the things that ya like the most... Somethin' like that." He snaps his fingers together- on the right hand, which means it makes a strange melodic sound. Don't worry about it.
no subject
"Not the treasures, the ROBES!"
"We have to pick a favorite Yukata first..." Reira laments, the entire matter being...well. Even worse than it appeared, evidently.
They do pause to stare at his hand for a moment however. That's a Nice Sound, Joker.
no subject
"Same method! C'mon-" He steps closer to start snooping around. "What are two that you've picked out already?"
no subject
She finds one with rainbow diamonds, and blue roses, ironically enough. "That's one...and..." Another with...wisps and bamboo? "That's one...um..."
Slowly, she is going to make a pile.
no subject
After a little bit, he asks, "Think this is enough for ya ta go through?" They can always get more, of course, but maybe they shouldn't overload her too much.
no subject
The daemon- who shifts into a large bird, now very, very awkwardly trailing around that initial yukata, blinks. "...It shall SUFFICE."
So that's a yes. "...It's a big pile...it's getting hard to hold."
no subject
With one pattern in one hand and another in the other, he holds the two up side by side. "Pick one~!"
no subject
"LEFT!"
Well at least one of them has the idea.
Actually that may end up the trend. Reira hesitates- her daemon assuredly does not.
no subject
"Then I'll pick another two- but, Reira?" He 'snaps' his right hand again, smiling. "Go with the first one ya think of, okay?" The daemon is helpful, but it can't be the only thing to speak up.
no subject
(That's the point kiddo.)
no subject
....He will be checking to make sure she doesn't have a heart attack. At least not until they're done.
no subject
Upsetting! It's upsetting! Her daemon grumbles a bit the longer they go, even as the pile is getting thinned out.
"Mnnhhhn..."
no subject
"Head hurtin'?" he asks, before pausing. "Well, maybe not literally, although I wouldn't be surprised."
no subject
"...ummm....is that supposed to mean I'm stuck?" Because sure, she's stuck then.
