What: The carnival arrives at a new location and has its first performance week with the new cast, as outlined here. This is a general mingling log for convenience purposes, but players are welcome to make as many other logs for this purpose as desired.
Warnings: Could be a lot of things, around these parts.

THE REALM OF DREAMS↴ As the carnival arrives at its first stop since its recruitment phase, and prepares to put its new band of workers to the test. In the meantime, there is a whole new world of dreams and nightmares to be explored, and threats to be faced on carnival turf. As of S1:D11, the carnival will be opening its doors to the creatures within, and the carnival will be open daily from noon to midnight, though the connection to the realm will be constant. This is an all purpose mingle log for the full duration of the stay, so please mark top levels with some estimate of what days they'll be occurring on. Please bring any mod questions to the original plotting post.

[He can't help but smile happily at the praise.]

It's hard! But I'm strong, so it's okay. [He gives a little shrug.] I used to dance more. But now I have to use my arms to hold me up.

[ She nods, still staring up at the silks, remembering how he traveled from one to the other without ever touching the ground. ]

Dance-- oh!! [ Sudden realization: ] You're Mitsuki-san's roommate.

Eh? Yeah. You know Mikki?

[It figures. Mitsuki always makes tons of friends somehow.]

Yeah! We met the first night, too. When he performed.

[ Mitsuki was hard to miss. Surely Tamaki noticed him - and might even have seen that he played to one specific girl in the crowd sometimes. ]

[Mitsuki doing individual fanservice isn't really that noteworthy to Tamaki (idol life), so he wasn't paying that much attention, but he does remember when Mitsuki sang karaoke.]

Yeah? Mikki's a great performer! I like it best when he runs the MC corner.

He's really good! He says he's gonna talk to the Ringmaster a--

[ Oh. Wait. Maybe she doesn't want her to say that. She sputters a little and goes: ] Anyway... I think he's looking forward to performing, too. Are you?

[puddingemote]

[He tilts his head questioningly when she suddenly sputters and changes the subject. Mitsuki is going to talk to the Ringmaster? What about?]

Ah, yeah. I guess so. [He shrugs a little.] It'll be weird, though.

[waitingforplayer2]

Really? But I thought you performed all the time back home...

[puddingemote]

Yeah, I did! But always with IDOLiSH7 or with Sou-chan... not really by myself.

[It's not really that he's nervous, but it seems kind of lonely.]

You'll still be with the Carnival, right? You just need a partner.

[puddingemote]

A partner... are there other acrobats here?

[waitingforplayer2]

I, uh...

Actually... I don't know. But maybe you could partner with someone on the ground... like an announcer, or a Ringmaster, or a clown.

[ Her eyes light up. ] Or even Mitsuki!

[puddingemote]

Eh!? With Mikki!? You think!?

[It's not like he's opposed to the idea, but he always sings with Sogo, and Mitsuki always sings with Nagi and Yamato, and that's just the way the world works.]

That could be fun. Mikki's really good at stuff.

Sure! You're roommates, you could ask him... I'll bet you'd work great in a performance together.
