What: The carnival arrives at a new location and has its first performance week with the new cast, as outlined here. This is a general mingling log for convenience purposes, but players are welcome to make as many other logs for this purpose as desired.
Warnings: Could be a lot of things, around these parts.

THE REALM OF DREAMS↴ As the carnival arrives at its first stop since its recruitment phase, and prepares to put its new band of workers to the test. In the meantime, there is a whole new world of dreams and nightmares to be explored, and threats to be faced on carnival turf. As of S1:D11, the carnival will be opening its doors to the creatures within, and the carnival will be open daily from noon to midnight, though the connection to the realm will be constant. This is an all purpose mingle log for the full duration of the stay, so please mark top levels with some estimate of what days they'll be occurring on. Please bring any mod questions to the original plotting post.

God. Beautiful. Amethyst inwardly swoons a little. "OK, garbage princess, lemme take that box," she says, and smooches Peridot's slightly grubby cheek as she lifts it out of her rubbish plastic ring-bedecked hands.

[periphrasing]

The stupid pleased snickering that Peridot does immediately following that kiss is so saccharine that people on the other side of the carnival probably just got cavities from being in proximity of it.

"Princess," She repeats, snorting slightly, padding after Amethyst towards the supervisor's grove. "That's a new one. I like it though! It's a title worthy of my importance."

[drrdrrdrr]

"Well, it starts with a P..." Amethyst shrugs, grinning. "Per-incess..." She contemplates this for a moment, keeping her head tilted to try to peer around the box of junk she's carrying. "Couldn't think of any good P words for garbage, though."

[periphrasing]

"I'm not sure if there is a P word for garbage," Peridot says contemplatively, rubbing her chin, staring up at the sky. Then she looks back at Amethyst, beaming: "But you know what starts with an "A"? Art!" she exclaims, without waiting for an answer. "And we're going to make tons of it using this sweet trash that a bunch of people threw out like idiots. Nyeheheheh."

Amethyst's grin widens, and she goes a slightly darker shade of purple under the little gems that dot her cheeks. "Yeah, what dumbasses. This is a great haul. You got any ideas yet?"

Amethyst doesn't have any, of course -- meep morps aren't exactly her forte and she'll readily admit that. She doesn't totally get all of the stuff Peridot puts together, but she likes it and she's happy to enable it.
