MOON WALKING↴ The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off! Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival. ► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available! ► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you. ► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it. ► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.) ► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

"We sealed the sky and defeated Corypheus. There was a celebration afterwards. You left."

Said with a pointed look at Solas. He has a vague idea of why now, but it still stings. There's a little hint of pride in Cole's voice as he continues talking.

"Corypheus tried to bind me but it didn't work. I am unbound." And he is just oh so happy about that.

I do. She gives people a chance to be happy.

[ And in the grand scheme of things, what's a year and a day anyway? So many more will live past that and so many more have lived past that.

Granted, the occasional kidnapping thing is...less than ideal, but nobody's perfect. And Cole knows she could be much, much worse. ]

He absolutely would like it, but he's also the sort who doesn't assume people want to hug him. Tragic!

"Don't worry about it! This is my job, and I've got so much clothing on hand. You'll have to roll those up a bit, I think, but they're not way too long. If you'd like I could hem them, that's in my skill set."

Julien's human body is still mostly human-shaped, but there are big fuzzy blue pedipalps on either side of his head, which default to partially covering the lower half of his face. He moves them out of the way to show a smile. "So what job did you get assigned? Anything good?"

And Strange nods. Yep, using the snow. Yuya would have seen the technique he'll use already, it's the same 'call forth a tendril' sort of thing that he used to cheat at snowball fights.

As for the question, Strange frowns slightly, mulling things over. "I'm not entirely sure. Making it bigger to start might be easier as you could still remain stationary while that happens and wouldn't have to worry about moving around that much." Plus, it could help Yuya get that barrier solidified. Strange knows Yuya can cast the spell, but he doesn't yet know how strong it is or how long he can keep it up.

Reira's frown is still very set, and even cold.

"..........I know not all of you teleport." And frankly it's rather rude of you to use that as your excuse here. Very rude. She's pretty sure you were both just clashing and butting heads like absolute idiots-it wouldn't take empathy to know, either.

The fact remained though, that if Papyrus could teleport, things would definitely be different.

At that, Cole shakes his head. Because he didn't. Truth be told, he probably wouldn't have found a purpose himself if he didn't have his friends, didn't have people to help lead and guide him, showing him how to best be him. He had wants and desires, of course. He wanted to help. It'd be best if he helped. But that wasn't enough for a purpose, the way he now knows what his purpose is.

"Others helped. Searching and seeking myself, I wouldn't know where to start. But they talked, I listened, and I learned. Maybe that's how you'll find your purpose."

Just listening. Hearing what others have to say, paying attention to how others instruct you, simple things like that.

"And if he knows all monsters can teleport, or that some can't-- look, you explicitly trust this guy for some reason, and I trust you, but all he does is make me upset. A guy shouldn't be picking bloody scabs in front of you like he's just-- just trying to get a reaction out of you! It's wrong!"

He heaves a sigh.

"I don't understand. No one should do that in front of anybody."

Hahaha, I've already got my act pinned down.

[ The regular one he used to fool humans was good enough, right? Except with friendliness pellets he could use confetti or balloons or candy instead. It was weird when he was only eight himself, but he was mentally more ... maybe more mature. It was for five year olds anyway. ] What about you?

"He wasn't trying to get a reaction," she counters. "...That's what he does to make magic happen-he uses blood. After that he was trying to ignore things."

"...Foster can't attack anyone here-he knows that, so he won't. So no one has to be scared about what happens if he knows about things." And.... ....well, she supposes it makes sense that there's no way to understand it. She doesn't even completely understand things. He's weird. He's just....weird.

"....We should probably make sure Taako knows we're here when he gets back too," she decides, changing the subject.

"We can leave a letter?"

He goes with her changing the subject, because he feels a weird sense of wanting to apologize while still sticking up for what he thinks was right. Alphys couldn't teleport, and if Foster was being Foster around her... he didn't want to answer the question in either way for her sake.

That just makes it easier! Make one up and run with it! I wanna hear some dramatic action!

-- Yeah! If you ever meet Frisk, know they're the best person around! The kind who'd save the world if it was ending around him! Because they did that and more!

[ It's honestly true. With the emotions he has now, he's swinging more towards the Asriel side of things with a bit of mischief locked in. Especially with a lot of fear and sadness emotions weighing out the good and neutral ones, he hasn't regained the most bitter of feelings yet.

Almost like he wanted to be better before he wanted to be cruel. ]

Well, I'm not the one who saved the underground from me. So. I guess that 'good job' thing still belongs to you.

Not that Tyki will personally see Sans as intimidating ever again. He's a potential threat given he's the Warden but Tyki had no plans to cause trouble intentionally.

Well, Allen is gone now as he was the first one to give him a warning of behaving.

"Your brother kind of filled me in on that even if I wasn't myself at the time and was trying to get him to eat that... 'burger' thing he made me bring him." He leans back on his hands, "Is it the obligation? At home I had a job to do too but I was allowed to fulfill it at my leisure."

Just let him start coughing and he'll give due cause to go off the roof. Tyki is the type of person that isn't too heavy or too light. He'd roll just fine. At least he's durable.

"Getting to sleep in much later than usual would be more enjoyable if it didn't come with the aching body and upset stomach. When I sleep I do enjoy long periods of rest." But he shrugs and fishes out a cigarette himself to light casually. Don't mind if he smokes while sick because good luck stopping him. "I just wish my family was here to see this. It's quite a view."

A letter? She's letting it go at least, recognizing that....Flowey just doesn't have the emotions for this situation. They're just not there.

Still. "...Do you want to go outside, then? I was just going to read my big book from Strange..."

Thanks to Strange spilling the beans on how much of a drunken gossip Shimmer is, Childermass will actually stop avoiding the other Court changelings to approach either Shimmer, Scald, or both at once depending on when he can and who he finds first. He's here to request that they please keep what they can tell about himself and Steven to themselves, as most the carnival isn't aware of it.

"What's it about? Wouldn't you rather stay where it's warm?"

God, it'd been forever since he read something... going through the librarby more than a few times in its entirety had grown tiring, to say the least.

Shopping! Shopping is tricky, but Reira thinks she's been doing a Great Job so far. She got 'heelies' for Yuzu, so she could match Yuuya's own skates. She got Flowey a flower pot that he can stay warm in, and even managed to give Papyrus a 'special bone'. There's still others on her list to get gifts for, of course...but she'll find them eventually! Probably. She thinks so at least.

Apparently she isn't the only one still shopping though-and as she wanders on this particular day, she...pauses.

"....I thought you had a knife?" Hello Foster, how are you.

"It's pretty warm here!" Especially if they sit at the fire, right? Cozy cozy. Anyway.

"It's a book about how magic works where Jonathan came from. ...It's....really long." It's Very Hard To Read, but mostly she's determined.

"... Can I read over your shoulder?"

It has been so long since he read anything that he even wonders if he has the attention span for it anymore. Especially a book about new magic.

The fireplace in the cabin is warm enough already, they just have to-- Flowey snatches a decorative pillow off the side of the bed, and puts it near the fireplace so she can sit.

If she does, he'll look over her shoulder and steadfastly read until she is done.

[ The ground is coated in a particularly thick coat of snow today, and Flowey is showing her the nuance of packing the perfect snowball. The weirdest thing is, this is one thing he remembers Asgore teaching him clear as day, because he would always get targeted at school because he was so easy to make cry.

Chara was the best at snowball fights, naturally. ]

You pack it like this, and you always throw it overhanded, like you're pitching a softball! Frisk, are you ready? This is Reira's first snowball tournament and after this, it's all for one and one for all!
