CY-Ren's planning of a charity concert has been well received - news of bomb threats and harassment from fans have painted her as a victim in the media spotlight, and her generous attempt to make amends is getting plenty of attention. She's been busy spinning things for as much focus as possible, and the threat of potential danger has the news focusing in on the proceedings. The date is set for Day 27 in carnival time. You won't want to miss it!

► BUILD UP: In the last couple days before the concert, CY-Ren will be reaching out to all of her Harbingers, regardless of where they might be at the time - yes, this means that even if you ran off, she'll come to find you! (Unless you're in the carnival like Taako, then you're fucked.) She'll tell you that her plans are coming to head, and that if you help her with one last task then the planet will be on its way to destruction. There are multiple ways you can aid her: you can help amp up her performance as evil backup singers/musicians, or you can set yourself up around the perimeter at specified locations, using your sparks as a beacon to her magic. She's certain that she's perfected her musical formula, this time - when the concert gets underway, all those present with the capacity to be a Harbinger will awaken, and the end of days will begin.

► THE CONCERT: By the time the concert arrives, the Star Guardians will have the idea that there's something unnatural about the way the new Harbingers were made - this isn't how it usually happens, and that sets them apart from someone like CY-Ren. Maybe that means that they can be pulled away with less drastic measures as well, given that the Void didn't have the full right to their souls in the first place. Anyone coming to help (and those who aren't Star Guardians will be encouraged to come as well, given that if they are making attempts at friendship, super powers aren't required) will gather in the area early, determined to stomp this one out before it can get too far.

► HARBINGERS: This is when they will be encountered by Harbingers guarding the perimeter, as well as a small army of void creatures defending CY-Ren's last performance. Star Guardians will become aware through the power of Creation that the Harbingers on the perimeter must be neutralized in order to disrupt the concert - CY-Ren is feeding on their negative energies, and it will make it too dangerous to attack her directly. Confrontations with any Harbingers can be worked out on an individual basis via plotting - just make up a location around the concert and have your Harbinger providing a beacon of their own design.

As the concert ramps up, however, the excess of Void energy will cause the newly made Harbingers to destabilize - mentally or magically, their powers will be harder to control, and their negative emotions will be running wild. However, with that instability, there is also room for a breakthrough - for someone to blast the darkness from their Sparks with friendship and light. Now is the time to reach out.

► STAR GUARDIANS: If a Harbinger is successfully turned away from the darkness, they will briefly regain control of their Sparks, and be able to manifest as a Star Guardian for the first time. This will allow the Guardians to outnumber CY-Ren's forces. Their look and powers will still be based around the same Spark, but purified by Creation and aimed towards positive things. Time to win.

► DANCE OFF: Given that the Spark of Music and the Spark of Dance are colliding, it is perhaps not a surprise that this all manifests as a big ass musical number. As CY-Ren and Noa have a music battle, everyone present (even if you aren't a Star Guardian) will find themselves magically inspired to join in. You can dance, sing, or anything in between - the more people who support Noa's side, the stronger she will be. There will be a megathread for this part of the conflict, and at this point any unturned Harbingers will awaken and be able to turn their Sparks towards the light. As CY-Ren begins to lose power, what the players do with her will be up to you.

"I liked it," he says casually without putting an real explanation into his words. When he had first heard about CY-Ren from poster and people around town he listened to her music whenever it was offered. The concert had been another experience all together. He had felt inclined to listen harder through her siren song.

"Mister Tamaki, right?" he questions. That's right. He knows who he is through Doll and Joker.

Tamaki blinks, then looks over at the guy. He's seen him around, but they didn't really know each other. But he knows his name...

"Uh, yeah." He gives a nod. "And you're... uh... the guy with panther ears."

He remembers faces but not names so well.

So when a sweet young woman mentioned a young man with such endearment, he might've done a little stalking afterwards.

"Tyki Mikk," he answers with no real offense to his words. He didn't expect everyone to remember him and kind of preferred they didn't in a way unless they really wanted to. "Her music has a lot of energy and the crowd loves it even before her spell started to weave into the masses."

He blinks again, then realizes they've changed topics back to Cy-Ren's music.

"Oh." A pause, and then he nods. "Okay. I didn't know if she was just tricking people into liking her music."

Which would be pretty terrible, in his view. Lots of people out there worked really hard on their music. To cheat and make people like you without the hard work is cruel to all of them.

"But if people like her music, why does she have to mind control them?" Just be chill and happy in your pop stardom, Cy-Ren.

"Because humans are greedy, is what I want to say but her motives are far deeper than that. The Harbingers I spoke to spoke of an emptiness. I feel that they feel they have no choice anymore. This is the only way." It's absurd really. There are a lot of reasons to live and Tyki's own reasons for wanting to destroy his world were much deeper than that.

"She may feel like that is all there is as well." To which he sympathizes. He just won't admit it. He liked her music, still did, was curious to know what it was like before she started down this road. But here he goes changing topics yet again, "Don't worry. You'll come out of this not brainwashed or kidnapped. We wouldn't want Miss Doll to be sad."

That sounds like a depressing existence. Still, Tamaki doesn't know why they have to burden everyone else with their feelings of emptiness. Not everyone wants to die.

He keeps those opinions to himself, focusing on the later half of Tyki's speech instead.

"You should protect her, not me. When stuff starts happening, I don't know if I can be with her."

But she wanted to come, and he wasn't going to stop her.

It's an absolute drive that pushes them towards their goal with a relentless charge. The moment Tyki became a Noah, he wanted nothing more than to destroy the world and to have a little fun doing so.

Tyki's smile falters a little to the point there is barely an expression left, "Doll is here?" His eyes quickly dart towards the crowd like he's searching for her and he frowns when he cannot spot her directly.

"Yeah. She was with me earlier."

Then she took off into the crowd on that weird bike of hers, probably looking for Joker. Clearly, Tamaki didn't really try to stop her.

"I think she was looking for Manager."

Well, now he has another priority on his hands. The whole point of keeping quiet and doing what Joker said was to keep her unworried and out of trouble. Still, he knew that wouldn't keep up for long and he lowers his hand to allow a Tease to appear into it. "Find Doll," he says and lets it flit into the air. It can't track her by scent but it can at least look for her.

"Yeah, she hasn't seen him in a few days. I know she was getting worried." Though now he's looking towards Tamaki with a bit of an accusation in his eyes though he understands Doll's fiery spirit, "It would've been better if you had gone with her."

Tamaki watches the... whatever it is appear in Tyki's hand and flutter away. He wonders if it's okay to trust whatever that was not to hurt Doll, gaze off in the direction it left until Tyki addresses him again.

He frowns at that accusation in Tyki's look.

"Doll makes her own decisions. This is Manager's fault for not explaining things, anyway."

He's pretty fed up with adults that won't just communicate, really. They're only bringing these consequences on themselves.

Tamaki was very familiar to Tyki so he's not sure if he can trust the boy either. Still, Doll seems smitten with him enough to at least understand where her heart would be with her family.

"Oh, I know," he says in response to both Doll's decisions and this being Joker's fault. The fucker sent him a text saying he was 'fine' and 'tell Doll I'm okay' when he just up and left. It's only now he understands why. It was for a kid.

Tyki understands this even as an adult. Communication was lacking and it was only a few days after the concert had anyone bothered to say anything other than on private channels or among themselves. "Doesn't change the fact that I would be more reassured if someone else was with her."

Tamaki seems to consider this, frowning a bit in worry.

"You think it's going to get that bad?"

Like the Manor, or the Celebration... or really anywhere they've been where all hell broke loose. Which was most places, now that he thinks about it. He never knew being in a circus could attract this kind of trouble.

"Because of the brainwashed people?"

"Yes, while others are singing and dancing, the rest of us will be dealing with the void creatures and Harbingers. I doubt she'll simply stand there without having some sort of muscle."

And he'd rather have Doll somewhere safe. If she has to participate, because Tyki believed in choice, then he'd rather he do it near someone that would at least had her back, "Yes, most of the brainwashed people seemed harmless when I encountered them and less inclined to fight but... there were a couple that are dangerous as they are. Not to mention I do not know if those that didn't are willing to fight now. You have to question how much they are willing to do to achieve their goal and someone has died already. Sans, our Warden."

Unfortunately, Sans seems to find a way to get horribly injured on a regular basis, and at this point Tamaki isn't entirely sure it wouldn't happen even if this place were perfectly safe. He just seems to be that sort of person.

"Yeah, especially since we attacked her concert already." So she'll already be on the lookout. And if her goals are really so important to her that she's willing to kill, Tamaki doubts she'll be easy to stop. But they've done it before.

Still... "Maybe we should just stop helping out all the time..." It tends to lead to several of them injured, or worse.

He's starting to get that picture unfortunately but some where merely that; unfortunate.

The end of the world was never a joke. Tyki could testify to that if he actually wanted to. He lifts his hand with a flex of the bandages around it, "She has powerful allies at her disposal even if they are ours. They can possibly be worse than they were days ago."

"I tried to tell several it was a bad idea to help so accessibly but I suppose since I did not speak up on the initial radio broadcast it wouldn't have mattered."

Tamaki shakes his head, giving Tyki a sympathetic look.

"It wouldn't have mattered. In the end, they would have done it anyway."

It's not necessarily a bad thing to want to help, though Tamaki isn't sure they always do so within their means. Their intervention in the Matrix, after all, was a resounding failure, and other gains they have made have come at great cost, of the mental and physical health of the workers if nothing else.

"There's a lot of heroes in the carnival." He sounds exasperated, but also fond. At least they aren't bad people.

It's a soft sneer on his end at his commentary because one, he was right, and two, the word heroes always rubs him the wrong way. There was no such thing as heroes usually. Those that wanted to help made a mess and even the carnival seemed to draw that card perfectly.

"Not everyone can be saved, Mister Tamaki. When they realize that, the better."

Tamaki frowns at that, because... it's a bit of a downer. Even if he thinks always getting involved in other worlds' affairs is a bit dumb, and sometimes doomed to fail, he can still understand why people do it. Doesn't think there's necessarily anything wrong with having hope.

"Ah, well... you're probably not going to convince anyone, so..."

A shrug. Heroes gonna hero.

It's a dangerous game they play and while he understands Hope, like having a Doctor around even if he's somewhat useless for morale, there are some things that are just true in this world. Fae came with potential risks out of their hands. Sirens like this caused brainwashing without any way of resisting. The more they got involved, the more their chances to survive diminish. Without a purpose for pushing forward action, with no goal in mind, it was pointless.

"I know," he confirms with an air of understanding. He knows people but... "I'm going to go find Doll now." Not because he himself is a hero but because he was selfish and she mattered to him. She wasn't pointless.
