MOON WALKING↴ The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off! Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival. ► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available! ► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you. ► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it. ► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.) ► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

A - Extra Buck [Day 6, Open]

He’s as bundled up against the chill as practically as possible since although he’s not opposed to the snow, Yugo’s never specifically liked the cold. Thanks to fae magic sitting in his core, the least this dragon boy would need is to keep his extremities warm- but he’s not a certain best friend of his who might’ve done so even without such projection.

What brings Yugo out in the fresh powder besides the fact this was a vacation on the wintry moon for the entire carnival? Because with a whole ton of credits in hand, the first thing he should totally do is start spending!

A small white dragon, none other than Clear Wing, rides upon Yugo’s shoulder- their claws gripping securely into the fabric of his coat and long tail wrapped around the sleeve. Both gaze curiously and in Yugo’s case with awe at everything for sale. You might notice him by the time a small array of “Noah” bikes or a magical photo album catches the teen’s eye.

B - Urgent Tuning [Day 7, Open + Empathy Cabin]

Yugo grins to himself as he falls into his familiar tinkering rhythm. He can’t quite use his left hand as well as he usually can, but it’s not a total bother for him. Clear Wing hovers from above, being on watch duty for whom he intends to gift the conspicuously small Noah bike.

The body of it has been popped open, which may or may not have been supposed to do that, but it does now. Such rough jury rigging is necessary for the sake of installing things like a dueling module for the Standard Dimension duel disk currently in his possession to jack into…

And if someone comes, that’s what the tarp is for.

[Reira's had an Interesting day so far. It started out nice, with a set of gifts from Flowey. Then....it soured.

It soured a lot. She may have left on more or less decent notes with Yuuya, but it still soured the day, and that was what was important. With a sigh, she walks back toward her cabin, only to pause however. Is....that an engine?

Does she hear an engine? get out of the way, Reira-]

[Definitely an engine. Luckily for Reira, playing chicken against Yuto and Yuri on separate occasions is not indicative of the driver's ability to use brakes. A white D-Wheel that should be familiar enough bursts upward from a nearby snowbank and skids to a stop with awesomeness and grace.

None of the snow kicked up is anywhere close to reaching- that's how far from danger the kid was, see.]

Oh hey, Reira...!

[He flicks up the visor on his helmet. There might be a teeny bit of guilt underneath the positive warm emanating from Yugo, but maybe that doesn't sour such needed happiness too much.]

AUH-

[Most of the surprise, needless to say, is less from any possible snow spray and more the sight of it. Also the sight of the bike ON the snow. But that aside. She blinks a little owlishly as the guilt flashes. That....was weird, but...Hmm. She throws it off. She's feeling a bit bad at the sight of the other Yuu-Face herself. Zarc is very fresh in her mind, after all.] Umn....you can drive on the snow..? [She asks, deflecting rather easily as she fiddles with her locket.]

As long as there's a solid surface not too far down. That's what the chains are for too!

[If one examines closely, there's indeed silver-colored chains hooked onto the tires. They definitely must be brand new.]

Not that I wasn't able to drive on ice before... but that was a one time thing, really.

[Fortunately, having sat in on...........Many instances of Reiji's Spying, she knows exactly what he means.] ......I'm not sure solid vision counts, actually.... ...I feel like it's different, [She hums, frowning.] But....

Where were you going?

Felt like it acted the same. [And he shrugs. Certainly convincing enough at the time that he thought that particular section was the Ice Age all over again.]

But anyway, nowhere really! Just testing these out and having some fun getting the hang of my jumps again...!

[Yugo doesn't know it, but maybe it harkens Reira back to watching the video caught of him beating up Obelisk Force while performing stunts he's repeated in his daredevil shows.]

Oh! [Well! That's good....] ...You were pretty good at a lot of that, [She notes, nodding.] ....It's good that you're having fun, too. ....Especially when you're more sick than me... [Seriously man isn't your arm like. Rock.]

[Everything still moves fine, the limbs just sometimes get sleepy- is what the stubborn teen would say if such a thing was voiced aloud.]

I'm fine enough for driving, obviously.

[There's a prickle of... irritation? Indignance? An angry sort of emotion as far as the other would understand, which Yugo accentuates with a brief huff. And then the feeling passes.]

There's room on the back if you want to ride with me for a jump or two. It'll be fun!

[To be fair, it's Yuugo....so she sort of expected that kind of irritation. But, it passes quick, and she seems more interested than anything.] Umnh....a drive? [Hmm.] ....I...

Yeah..!! I can come, I think! [She is Already crawling on-] Maybe jumps can make things happier, then... You feel happy when you're doing jumps, right?

[And there it is, the last of the three feelings that most often radiate from the reptilian teen- confusion. Probably just because the inquiry was worded so oddly. It intermingles momentarily with his cheer and excitement, then comes along something else on the positive spectrum as Yugo moves to help up the small child.

Of course she would need help, he's more than happy to give it. Because it's adorable.]

Decent way to put it. Now we'll just have to see if you feeling the thrill isn't all me by the time we're done.

Mnhh? [What, does he mean....his feelings?] ........Why wouldn't it be my feelings when I'm 'thrilled' though? [She questions, blinking around the other's shoulder as she sits on the bike.]

[Yugo's just going to ignore that because less talk and more riding.]

Hold onto me tight because this thing can go from zero to 60 faster than you can say D-Wheel!

[He gives her a moment to do so, test his words, or both. Then revs the bike and-]

Yuya's lugging a big... something in his arms, half wrapped in his jacket because the paper started to tear. At least he has an actual coat to wear while on the moon. It takes him a circle around the cabin, but when he spots Clear Wing he makes an immediate dash.

"Yugo, hey!"

If Clear Wing's grunt doesn't catch Yugo's attention first, the shout of a familiar voice certainly does. Since it's not a certain little kid, he doesn't do much more than peer up from his very precise work.

"Hey yourself...!" Which is said in his usual friendly manner and smile. "You were looking for me?"

Yuya waves to Clear Wing as he passes around. "Yeah, I got you something..." He trails off when he sees the tiny noah bike. "What's that?"

Probably not a new D-Wheel, because it's too small for Yugo. For someone else, then?

"One of those bikes being sold at that caravan."

.... Is that Reira's duel disk slotted in the compartment he's making? Yes it is. And he totally knows what he's doing, because a lot of people would line up to strangle him if he fried it.

"It's gonna be a great present after I'm done with it."

Oh no.

"They kind of look like Jack's D-wheel." He comes closer to inspect it more thoroughly, and... "Is that Reira's duel disk? You're making Reira a D-wheel?!"

Is that safe? Probably not, he's a little worried how far she can go with that thing, but... it doesn't look as powerful as the real thing. Those bike's can't have the speed of a motorcycle, right?

"Don't get her duel disk stuck in there. She only has one!"

"Relax, Yuya...! It's gonna plug in and out like mine does."

If it couldn't, then it would after Yugo gets to the engine- but with safety mechanisms in place there as well. No going from zero to 60 outside of emergencies.

"I know exactly what I'm doing."

He does actually seen to know what he's doing. Yuya watches him for a moment, impressed, before moving to sit down beside him and hold the package upright against the ground. It's pretty cool actually, it looks complicated but Yugo isn't have any problem with the wires or bolts.

He tilts the package to Yugo. "This is for you, when you're ready to take a break."

Yuya did say he got Yugo something didn't he? That grabs his attention back and for a minute he seems confused by the gesture, but only because-

"Oh, I mean I knew we were all buying gifts for each other, but I wasn't sure if it was better to wait or not in actually giving them."

He had a headstart in learning what Christmas was. It seems like a fine enough time for a break anyway for personal reasons related to his left arm. Not that it gets in the way of him accepting the gift. And letting it show how amused and touched he is.

What is it, he's got claws and they can cut through paper no problem. But Yugo doesn't immediately give in to the curiosity just yet.

"But I guess since you're here, I don't need to leave you waiting for yours."

"I don't think so?" The Ringmaster called it Solstice, not Christmas, which was fine for Yuya because Christmas is normally for couples and that makes it feel a little weird giving gifts to his friends. A new holiday is totally different.

It's probably not a surprise that Yugo got him something in return, but he smiles all the same. "But I can get it whenever, I'm not in a hurry!"

"It's not problem either way, yeah. Hey Clear Wing, think you can go grab it from here?"

The dragon stares for a moment upon the request, then huffs a sound that perhaps translates to 'fine whatever'. The tiny summon slips inside the cabin through a window and hovers back out after a minute or so with a bag.

Into Yuya's hands Clear Wing plops the tiny thing. Tiny but awesome.

Yuya holds his hands out for the package, excitement lighting up on his face as he looks at it. Sure, he was all in the spirit of giving to others, but he still really wanted to receive and who doesn't like getting gifts.

"Hey, thanks!" He grins at Yugo and doesn't waste another moment before pulling the bag open and fishing for the prize. He really has no consideration for the state of the wrapping paper.

And inside the bag is a ring! One must wonder if it does anything, a completely good idea to try the thing on either way surely.

Meanwhile Yugo also doesn't want to hold on any longer to the suspense either, tearing away the paper. What did Yuya get for his Synchro Dimension brother?
