The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off!

Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival.

► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available!

► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you.

► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it.

► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.)

► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

Susan nods as he pulls the glass closer, even taking a sip of it now for good measure.

"It can't be that bad, or it wouldn't work. So don't worry too much." Because he's sure that Lauren is already worrying about him, and about how bad of an idea this is.

"It's bad." His only answer as he glares at their medicine. It doesn't taste great either. He isn't too worried about himself admittedly, but Susan was a kid still and pretty small now too. He'd probably get drunk, and even sober his magic could be destructive.

"Just take it slow."

Obviously, because he's Susan, he assumes that Lauren is exaggerating. But that doesn't mean he's going to be completely careless, and with Lauren with him he couldn't be even if he wanted to.

And so he finally picks up his own 'medicine', taking a sniff before making a face. With a glance at Lauren he finally takes a sip of it, almost spitting it back out before swallowing it. His disgusted face probably makes it clear what he thinks of it.

Lauren was about to take a sip of his own drink, but when he see's Susan's disgusted face he starts to laugh nearly spilling the liquor everywhere.

"It's not funny!!" Of course he's mostly just annoyed at it for tasting gross, not at Lauren for laughing, but he's still going to yell about it.

And then quickly take a few sips of that water just to try and clear the taste from his mouth because wow, that is super gross.

Actually, it's super funny, and Susan's annoyance only makes it funnier, but he quickly stiffles his laughter, taking a sip himself and then drinking his water before he starts laughing again and spewing the disgusting drink all over the table.

"Sorry." he says afterwads, still looking far too amused.

Susan is just pouting by this point, not even drinking any more of the terrible stuff. He'll just be sick forever, that's what he's decided.

"It really isn't funny."

Lauren laughs, trying to disguise it as a cough, before he takes another sip.

"Of course not."

Susan isn't fooled, but he doesn't say anything about it. Instead he just glares at the alcohol again before drinking more of his water.

Lauren switches to his water, before giving Susan a look.

"What?"

"It's gross." And that means he doesn't want to drink it.

"Yeah." Lauren says nodding his head in agreement. Even so he takes another drink. "It's pretty bad."

"How are we supposed to drink it if it's so gross?" He looks super offended by the idea, and he just drinks more of his water instead.

Lauren looks at Susan like he's just said something very dull.

"Medicine isn't supposed to taste good."

Well how is he supposed to know that, he's never really had to drink medicine before! He just pouts again before finally taking another sip, almost spitting it out again as he makes a terrible face again.

Lauren snorts as he sees Susan's grossed out face and some of the alcohol ends up in his nose. He coughs, trying to clear his throat, but it's a cough that sounds suspiciously like a laugh.

He shoots his brother another glare as he takes a big gulp of his water.

"You're the worst."

He keeps not laughing, trying to clear his throat as he wipes his mouth with his sleeve.

Susan just takes advantage of this time to not drink his medicine/alcohol, instead just sipping at his water. Maybe Lauren won't notice and he can skip drinking it. He's small anyway, maybe he doesn't need to finish it all.

Once his throat clears and he's gotten most of the medicine off his face and onto his clothes, he sighs, shaking his head. He moves to take another sip, but pauses first, the bottle near his lips.

"Don't drink too much water or you won't be able to finish."

"But it's okay if there's a little left, right?" Of course there's more than a little left right now but that doesn't matter yet for his argument.

He wrinkles his noise as he thinks about it.

"I think we're supposed to drink the whole thing..."

He frowns at that, looking to his (still mostly full) cup again.

"It's too gross."

He frowns.

"Yeah."

If he could help make it taste better he would, but...

His complaints obviously aren't swaying his brother, but that doesn't mean he's going to go for this yet if he can help it. He takes another sip of water, falling silent. Maybe he can just let Lauren think he's drinking it or something, if he doesn't draw attention to himself. It's a bad plan, he knows, but he's going to put this off as long as possible.
