The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off!

Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival.

► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available!

► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you.

► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it.

► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.)

► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

Yuya grins wide when she opens it, gesturing to his hair. "You should wear it, it looks really cool!" But he doesn't want to spoil the surprise, so he doesn't say more than that.

It does, however, make him happy to hear she got him something as well. "Yeah, why don't we all share our gifts now?" He steps back to give Reira a little nudge closer so she can pass her gift in as well.

"Umn....something for me?" ANOTHER something? Oh....She jumps, as she remembers something. First-she hands over Yuzu's gift, nodding. "Th...I hope you like it," she announces, waiting until Yuzu has it in her hands. Once the girl does, she digs something out of her pocket...

...The wrapped package Yuuya had given her. "Um....maybe...I could open all of my presents, then?" she asks, sounding almost nervous. She looks over to where Yuugo disappeared, apparently to retrieve hers.

Actually just wheeling the tarp-covered present closer while everyone else isn't looking or just preoccupied with the gift giving.

"Here you go Reira...!"

Gosh, what could it be? Only Yuya would know already what it is.

"Ah, for me?" Yuzu said, surprised as she took Reira's gift. "Ah, let me get yours and Yuya's, alright?"

With that, she went off to get some of the presents.

Yuya smiles to Reira, nodding. "Yeah, if you want you should open your presents now."

It's more fun when they're all doing it together, right? Maybe Yuya should have been waiting... but oh well, seeing his friends happy about receiving gifts at any point is nice.

Reira nods, and does her best to hide her anticipation when Yuzu leaves to get the gifts she intends to pass around. It is only a bit longer after all, but she can't help but almost greedily wait to see what Yuzu even thinks of her gift.

As it is, though the girl finds a spot to sit, she waits until Yuzu has returned...and then, nodding, opens Yuuya's present first.

It is one of the infinite polaroids, which sits inside. It takes her a moment, but with her cards, she recognizes the general purpose of the device immediately. "A camera..?" Is...she supposed to copy things with it, maybe? Yes??

She looks to the (much larger) thing that Yuugo has now brought in. "...I just pull the sheet?"

"Yeah!"

Now excuse Yugo as he goes back over to where he put his bottle and recoils with a grimace after opening it up for a tentative sip... then sucks up his disgust and starts draining down the liquid cure.

It would take Yuzu a moment to return with the gifts... but, only for two. ~~Sorry, Yugo, she had no idea you existed until now!~~ She would hand one set to Yuya and one to Reira.

"Go ahead, open them up!" Yuzu said. "I wish I could have gotten you guys something more practical, but..." And inside, the two'll find their own Party Stations inside. She can't help but grin sheepishly. "I hope it's okay?"

And if Yuya'll take the time to notice, Yuzu did put the comb in her hair, letting it sparkle.

Yuya leans over, putting his hands on his knees as Reira opens her gift. "Yeah, you can take pictures of all the cool things you see and save them. You'll have those memories forever."

He figures with how much she's never experienced, she'll get lots of use recording them.

When Yuzu returns, Yuya looks up and his smile widens at her wearing the comb.

"Hey, thanks!" He grabs for his present immediately, barely waiting before he crouches down to start opening it with excitement. "Yeah, this is great Yuzu!"

"Mhnn....!" Well, she sounds receptive of the photography idea, at least.

With Yuugo, she watches as Yuzu passes the packages to all but him. Can't help not knowing, after all-but Reira looks from one bundle to the tarp, with ever wider eyes. Everyone else has practically gotten One gift today, so far.

It feels like she's gotten three though (even if one was already long delivered), and somehow it's quite the rush of feeling. She opts, in the end, to open...the console, first. It's a very quizzical reaction-this large machine, with an image on the box that has...people holding the controllers, and looking at a TV..?

"So...you do things with this..? ...Using... ...Mnh..." It looks like Console day in the trailer will be interesting at least.

But next! That tarp. With a deep breath, she grabs the edge of the tarp, and PULLS-! And-!

"HA-AH-!" THAT'S A ~~D-WHEEL~~ BIKE WHAT-

You know what's always a pleasant sight? To see exactly that sort of surprise on Reira's face. Because clearly it means Yugo has a good taste in gifts, right? It's exactly something that she would like.

All of this is nice really, to be with friends and filled with toasty warm cheer thanks to the atmosphere.

"That's right, your very own bike! It's cool, isn't it?"

Aaaaaaaaaaand Yuzu's jaw drops at the sight of Reira's gift from Yuugo. "H-How...?"

Oh, well, now she feels both jealous and a cheapskate!

Yuya doesn't get the chance to explain the console to Reira, but that's okay. He's much less surprised, smiling at her reaction as well.

"It's your own D-Wheel," he says, getting up with his console in his arms. Because Yugo went through a lot of effort to make it so, he shouldn't sell himself so short. "Just be careful with it!"

It is definitely cool. Extremely cool, to the point where she's actually a little scared. After a few seconds of long silence, she swallows, and nods. ....And nods again, and... "...Umnh....I guess I can try driving it, later..." Later though. Later.

"...I still need to take my cure though, and..." And now she looks at Yuzu-the girl is pretty clearly stuck in the spot, after all. "...I still don't know what this does..." Quick, turn the laptop into a monitor, Yuzu-

"Well it looks like you play games on it. So you can have fun. With it."

At least that's his observation if the picture on the box and the name is enough to go by. Not that Yugo's ever owned such a sort of device before.

"Or something."

.... What is this odd and vaguely familiar sensation he's having right now of feeling so tingly?

“Ah, y-yeah..!” Yuzu said, recovering a bit. Okay, focus! Try to win this back! She’s going to run back to get her laptop she got and come back to help set up the Console. “It’s probably not as amazing as the other stuff we got, but it has plenty of things to play with!”

She’s gonna use the laptop screen as a makeshift tv screen for the console.

“You know, I’m hindsight, I should have gotten a TV, too...”

Yuya gives Reira a gentle nudge. "We'll show you how to play!" He's less worried about a TV since the trailers do have old VHS style ones, and he's not an avid video game player anyway. But he'll still try beating all of them at least once.

"You can take your cure right now and we'll all take turns playing." He glances back to Yugo. "You too!"

Guess who has no idea the cure is alcoholic, because who would even assume that without listening to the radio message.

Reira, for her part, is already opening the box to inspect the cables. "How does it plug into the TV..." It is going to be rather small for them, isn't it...oh well.

The girl jumps, nodding. "Yuugo already drank his," she notes, glancing toward him. She'd spotted him throwing it back earlier...but as for her drink, she's had it ready, so after another wiff and grimace, she chugs the drink.

Pulling a face all the while. It's Not Good, guys. "Umnnhh..." Bleh. "...If it doesn't work, I have to call the doctor, okay?" Just a reminder.

Now, back to pulling this out. "...Is there a TV here..?" she asks, not realizing Yuzu's plan for the laptop at present.

Showing off his empty bottle seems more than good enough for confirming that yes, he did already take his dose of the cure- before properly discarding said thing. And Yugo's taking a few strangely unsteady forward with the likely intention of helping with hooking the console up before-

"... What the fu-"

*THUMP*

And Yuzu promptly screams at Yugo passing out. “Yugo!?” She shrieked Out.

"Yugo?!" Yuya yells at exactly the same time, startling as he hits the ground. Yuya doesn't pause for long before he's putting his gift down and then rushing to Yugo's side, trying to help him up. "Hey, are you okay?"

He shoots Reira a briefly worried look, given she just drank her whole cure down.

Excuse her-she'll be staring, her glass somewhat awkwardly half slipping in her hands as she comprehends what. Just happened. Slowly, slowly however, she looks from Yuugo, back to the bottle, and then to the others...

...ohno

"....Is that bad?" HE'S DEFINITELY ALIVE AT LEAST BUT. UM.

Definitely still more than alive. After whatever fussing Yuya does in his attempts to get the larger teen up and awake... Well the fact that he recovers back to wakefulness seems to be good sign.

"...E-eh? Hehehahaaa I'm grrreat! And starving!"

Maybe.

Congrats - you're getting a fan to the face for Christmas, Yugo!

"You idiot! You scared us!" Yuzu shouted.

Yuya leans back to avoid the fan. Yugo may say he's okay, but Yuya doubts that.

Still, he's going to try and help Yugo sit up at least, pulling on his arms. "Maybe you should lay down. In bed, not on the floor."
