The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off!

Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival.

► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available!

► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you.

► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it.

► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.)

► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

That's right. Nothing is more important to me than my family. I'd do just about anything for them.

[And he meant anything to the extreme measures. Frisk's smile warms him and he'll look it over on whether or not to include the Fourteenth.]

Thirteen. You can imagine it is a pretty big table we all sit at for dinner when some of us aren't traveling.

[Holly-hecky that sure is a lot of people. Tyki said they weren't related by blood so did that mean they were, um...

You probably had a lot of interesting conversations at the dinner table, ahahha.

[It sounds really nice.]

[Technically one of them was related by blood but Frisk only knew so much as Tyki was able to share.]

It gets a little rowdy sometimes when unsupervised. The twins have a natural mischievous air about them. They enjoy pranks too much to enjoy being serious for long.

[Hey, they'll take it. Especially since Frisk is pretty much playing twenty questions right now. Families with a lot of siblings always sounded neat to them.]

Hehe...they kind of remind me of someone if they like pranks. Is anyone from your family here?

[He's kind of use to the twenty questions at this point after both his screw up at the manor and the fact one of his friends here asks a lot of questions on a daily basis.

Though at the mention of his family present or not causes his smile to fade just a little and he'll hide that in his cider.]

No, no one of his family is here. I know they would tease but otherwise be accepting of staying here for a short while.

[Tyki may be surprised to know, but Frisk is good at reading people. They had to be for various reasons.]

...I don't know if it's the right thing to say, but I hope they come here. They sound like nice people and I'd like to meet them.

[And it sounds like it'd make Tyki happy to have them here.]

[His body had started the road of recovery but his mind was a little slower. Even with the way he was feeling Tyki wasn't one to dwell on horrid feelings for long. Getting to know Tyki was easy and if there was ever a moment he wasn't cheerfully smiling it either meant something was wrong or one should run.

Frisk's words bring him comfort and his smile returns instantly.] No, it's fine. You don't think it is a little selfish of me to want them to come here?

[They'd agree on that point. Cuts and bruises healed with time, naturally or with magic. What happens in your head will take a lot longer or maybe not even go away at all. But in the end it's probably good to keep going.]

I don't know. But it sounds like you'd make sure they're safe here and I think they'd be happy to see you. Even if it's just a...um, vacation. A good one.

[It may be an odd choice in words, but Frisk has more or less lost the proper definition of a 'vacation' in exchange for something not so nice.]

[It's daunting for a man with his incredible power to be downed so easily by a fae. Even the Ringmaster had absolute control over his choice if she wanted. She just chose not to and he was thankful for that.]

You're right. I would do anything for my family to ensure their safety. I know they'd fit in well here. Or, most of them. [He chuckles at Frisk's choice of words.] Vacation. A rough vacation but appropriate. It's what I was considering it as until recently but you don't have to worry about that right now. It should return to normal soon.

[Frisk nods, smiling.]

Yup. It sounds like everything was really bad for awhile but I hope you and everyone else feels okay soon.

[Not better, but at least okay. And yeah, Frisk is rather concerned about other people's happiness. Hence why they were here.]

That's a very kind thing for you to say to a bunch of strangers.

[Even if it was a nice thing to say and it brings him a great bit of comfort.]

Though tell me, is there anyone you know here? Family? Friends?

A few people. Friends.

[Or, they'd like to think of them as friends. The actual answer is a lot more complicated, however.]

They're Monsters and really nice.

[See, this is the part of a normal conversation where Tyki would dig a little deeper but the term Monsters narrows that down. Only a select few that weren't human upon arrival. Tyki knows a human soul when he sees one no matter how corrupt fae magic has made it.]

Most of them have been. I can't say the same for a few of us otherwise. Well, that's good to know you won't start off alone then.

[Monsters are weird, in a way. Not human but human like in a way. But those weren't Frisk's thoughts alone. They're never alone in their head.]

I'm not alone, and I hope I can make them happy.

[This time for sure.]

Happy? Mm, right now people could use happy.

[He finishes his apple cider and sets the cup aside on the ground.]

[Frisk finishes their own drink but keeps a hold of their cup, the fading warmth helping to keep their fingers warm for now.]

It's hard for everyone to be happy. [They can admit that much.] But I'm going to try.

[They're filled with Determination, after all.]

[Frisk is welcomed to more or even some for the road. If Sans was one of those monsters he'd want him to be happy.]

Well, I'm certainly charmed already. [He admits easily.] In any case, stay as long as you wish, have another cup of chocolate. Should still be warm in the kitchen. Try not to snoop too much in the left side of the cabin. I don't know if Joker has returned or not or if he's sleeping.

[As much as he himself would love to keep talking he's still recovering even with the Cure having worked full force in his system.]

[That particular relationship is complicated with a capital 'C'. But Frisk is with Tyki on wanting Sans to be happy.]

I'll be quiet like a mouse. [Shame there's no safes to try and hack.] And I'll keep my nose out of the left side.

[That is accompanied by a slightly cheeky grin. But apparently for a kid who's fine with pulling a polite B&E, they're considerate.]

And thank you for the hot chocolate. It tastes really good.

[He rises out of his chair with a lazy stretch to even the point his ears bend backwards in a flick. He's akin to a cat right now with how he could just drape over something and doze off. He's sure Joker would scold him though on sleeping on the floor again when he didn't want to move.

He's considerably trusting of a kid to leave them alone or maybe this cabin had nothing valuable. Either way he's waving over his shoulder as he heads towards his room.] If you need anything else I'm over here. Night and welcome to the carnival.
