The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off!

Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival.

► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available!

► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you.

► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it.

► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.)

► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

[Yuya laughs, because of course he seems like he'd just sign another contract in retaliation. He's thought about it.

The second part of the base is set it for the snowman, now. They'll have to move too find any decorations for it, so for now Yuya just starts building another snowball, his gaze kept down.]

Sure. [But Gon would totally make another one if Yuya did. Do it once, do it twice.

There's a pause before he crushes the snowball with a sigh.] You know, I was afraid of being too late. I was afraid we'd really loose Yuzu when Academia came for her. And you too, I...

[Have been scared to lose.]

[That is a rather quiet 'sure', and Yuuya's feelings are as transparent as a pane of frosted glass. Gongenzaka pauses in his work at merely carving the snow-pillar, a softer gaze upon his friend.]

...I, the man Gongenzaka....have been rather unfair, in that regard, haven't I, [He admits quietly.]

...Though I can give my word... ...I, the man Gongenzaka, have shamefully proven that my word is not enough... [That much he understands. That much tells him he can't risk such things again.]

[Yuya purses his lips for a moment, using his thumb to poke eye holes into the snowman.] I guess I can't completely blame you.

[For being unfair. Yuya still hasn't proven he can handle taking on the burden as well. He too can say whatever he wants, but until he's actually stronger...

Yuya's been unfair, too. Getting angry at Gongenzaka when he hasn't done anything to prove he can handle himself.

He starts to engrave a smile on the snowman next, his gaze flicking up to Gon.]

Hey. [His hands settle on the base of the snowman and he offers am earnest smile.] It just means I need to make sure you don't get lost, right? But you won't lose me, either.

[He won't... well, okay, he might still be reckless. But he doesn't want to be a martyr and just sacrifice himself. He wants to protect Gongenzaka, and Yuzu, and everyone else, and that takes more than throwing himself in front of the danger for as many times as they can afford to resurrect him.

Keep moving forward. That's what he'll do.] If we can't promise to stay out of trouble, let's promise that.

[Promise to keep each other here. To make it home, all of them, no matter what.]

PfffH-HOH-! [He half laughs, half chokes, nearly knocking his snow pillar over. 'Lost', of course! It clears into a more strong laugh however, and he claps the other's shoulder-a bit more gently now that he's conscious of what he's doing, naturally.]

Aaah! That, most certainly, is a promise which I, the man Gongenzaka, feel we can keep..!

Rff! [...Agrees Suzu.]

[Yuya scoops Suzu up in his arms when she responds. He ducks his face down, hiding the embarrassment that starts to burn and shakes his head.] I'm being serious!

[The metaphor has kind of gotten away from him, but he's certain in his conviction. He's not going to fail his precious people again. What else is he learning magic for?]

Hmn! What-I am not allowed to laugh, where I, the man Gongenzaka, feel we have come to a positive agreement? [He huffs, crossing his arms.] This is good, is it not?

...Laughter, after all...should be for more than mere jokes! [it's normally for jokes gon]

No, I didn't mean it like that... [He mumbles, face still flushed with embarassment--but for a slightly different reason, now. Gongenzaka is too severe of a person to be anything but straight forward. But Yuya's sensitive, especially when he feels he has something to prove.

Gongenzaka isn't looking for him to prove anything, though. That's all on him.] It's a promise, then!

[Some things just never change. The laughter dies, though the smile doesn't fade.] Yuuya.

...As you said-it is a promise; and I, the man Gongenzaka....have absolute faith in that promise you have made, aah?

[He looks up when Gongenzaka calls his name, and after his affirmation Yuya smiles, too.]

Yeah. Me too. [Not that there was any doubt in Yuya about Gongenzaka. Keeping Yuya on track was something he and Yuzu had already been doing. Still, that faith in return is enough to bring him right back up.

He adjusts his hold on Suzu before carefully getting to his feet.] Let's find some twigs and stuff for our snowman.

Hmn! Twigs, you say..? [Suzu squirms a bit, but yips excitedly as the mane on Gongenzaka's back rustles.

He sure is holding out a vine, like a dweeb.]

[Yuya blinks, staring blankly for a moment... and then he bites his lip as he barely conceals a sound of amusement.]

Yeah, that works too. [Actually, it reminds him...] You gave Connie a piece of your mane, didn't you? Isn't it kind of like your hair...?

Aauh, so I did.

...Actually, I, the man Gongenzaka, have been practicing to create small crafts using the vines, [he adds, nodding a bit proudly.] It is....a little different from hair, I should say?

It certainly feels a part of me, but....it still grows rather uniquely, creating flowers, and leaves...

[He grins.] Perhaps you shall receive something yourself!

[Just don't think of it as hair and it'll all be better, Yuuya.]

[Yeah, he still doesn't see how that's not like taking his hair. Fur. Whatever. Gon can do whatever he wants with whatever grows off himself.

He reaches to take the vine, turning it in his hands before plopping back down and starting to strip it so he can break it and use the leaves to form hair, eyebrows, a nose...] So you're going to give me a piece of you for a gift?

[Look at Gon, accidentally dropping hints about his present and Yuya is picking right up on them.]

Among things.... [You'll never know WHAAAAT (probably an omamori).] I, the man Gongenzaka, have made a small thing for everyone receiving a gift however, so it is still a surprise.

[So he making stuff out of it, huh? That's infinitely more possibilities, but Yuya won't ask. Gongenzaka is obviously trying to really make this a surprise. But--] You know I'll be happy with whatever it is, right?

[Don't overthink it, buddy. If this was back in Maiami he'd only be asking for cards.]

Gh-

I-It is about more than making you happy though..! I, the man Gongenzaka, wish to gift something which you can enjoy fully, after all!!

[Yuya's gaze drifts to Gongenzaka's sash as he speaks. His expression shifts to be a little less amused and a little more warm before he turns back to the snowman. He's making a valiant attempt at getting it to look like Nico Smiley.]

What'd you get Yuzu, then? [Gongenzaka missed their little gift exchange from taking the cure, so he hasn't seen whatever they have or haven't exchanged.] I won't tell!

[To that, he crosses his arms.] That is unfinished.

Eh? [Yuya's expression lifts briefly in mild surprise.] Do you need any help?

Hmm? [Wh- Oh.]

A-Auhhh, no! It is quite fine, trust me! I, the man Gongenzaka, am merely making certain of what she receives.

[Gotta be Careful.]

['Making certain of what she receives'? Yuya raises a brow.

But after a pause he just shakes it off. Hopefully Gongenzaka won't worry himself too much trying to do up this gift gifting. Instead, he gestures for him to come around.] If you say so. Come look at our snowman!

[It doesn't look remotely like Nico Smiley, but good attempt.]

[DON'T YOU BROW RAISE-] Some of the objects here have hidden abilities to them, Yuuya...

...I, the man Gongenzaka, would rather she not receive a rude surprise... [Can you imagine if she wound up with Teeth Feet, Yuuya, it'd be Terrible.

Anyway. He looks to Nico Smiley. His own snowman...erm. Snow-Tamashi more like-is....making some progress. It will have a Stick Staff.] Hmm!! A good face...

[Is that what that pillar is...]

I'm sure they'll tell you what they do if you just ask. [Yuya, of course, asked lots of questions about what he was buying to make sure it was a good choice as well... though he didn't go for anything crazy either. Not enough budget.

He rubs his chin thoughtfully, critically eyeing his own snowman.] Yeah... I think he needs a friend.

[That way when they're abandoned to be slowly weathered away into nothing they're not alone or... something.]

[YES....Watch and marvel as this pillar becomes A Round Thing on a Pillar-

Anyway.] Hmn! Once I, the man Gongenzaka, am finished, they shall have one then...

...and while I, the man Gongenzaka, am certain they would, that would imply I myself know exactly what should be gifted... [Mrrrp.] ...the number of unique objects here is unnerving...but all the same, there have been things which could prove useful, just as much so.

....Things which I, the man Gongenzaka....admittedly would not have considered...

The caravan go to different worlds like we do, right? [Snowman finished, Yuya turns his attention to giving Suzu plenty of sketches skritches and pets.] It seems like most of them have magic, and magic items do things you can't otherwise.

[Ergo, they're probably more popular stock.]
