The journey to the moon only takes a blink of an eye, but it leaves the carnival far away beneath you. The second moon can be seen on the peripheral, massive compared to its usual view. At least when the holidays start out, there will be no notable wildlife on the moon, though this is something you can talk to the Ringmaster about if you think it needs a change. It sounds like this is the first time she's used it in quite a while - it probably needs some dusting off!

Claim your cabins, and proceed to... well, do whatever you want! There is no rush and little obligation, besides to enjoy yourself. For real, this time. She promises there will be no vampires. Or, at least, none that don't already work for the carnival.

► CABINS: Living arrangements are character choice for this event, and there are a variety of cabins of various sizes, mostly built to house 2-6 people, though you can fit more in if you squish. They are all made of wood and of a rustic design - no fancy modern furniture, here! Each building is housed with a fireplace and the needed amenities. You can pick up materials to cook with the private kitchens if you like. Theoretically, you could spend the whole holiday sequestered away, watching the snow fall. Some of them also have outdoor hot tubs available!

► ACTIVITIES: Activities are mostly going to be character driven, though there will be some large group games like bingo and maybe a poker tournament happening at some point in one of the festival halls. Otherwise, there is a lot to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice sculpting, snowball fights - it goes on! If you'd like to run a winter activity, just let the mods know, and we will get the word out there for you.

► FEASTING: Every day isn't a full-out feast because that would get a bit unhealthy, but there will be a number of specific feast events over the holidays where everyone is encouraged to let out their inner hedonist and stuff themselves. There will be one big feast per week, with smaller but also delicious meals offered in between. The feast dates will be B12, B18, and B24. There's also plenty of alcohol available for anyone who wants it.

► SHOPPING: As mentioned in the planning post, there is a massive market being run by the World Walker Caravan! The Ringmaster has given everyone 1250 credits to spend on items, but there is a caveat - must spend at least 500 of those credits on gifts for other people. And it better be a good one, if you only buy one! (She will ask that you do not buy her presents, however. She appreciates the sentiment, but it seems sort of silly buying her things with her own money! If you'd like to gift her, please have it be something more personal or handmade, but you are not obligated to get her anything at all.)

► TREATMENTS: The beginning of the holidays will also be about the time that the emergency Medical Team will have finalized their treatments for the Prince's poisoning. Watch out for further information on that - and make sure to get treated if you are suffering from petrification or poison induced illness! The holidays will be a lot more fun that way.

And at the knocking at the door, there’s Yuzu, her face turning from confusion to happiness.

“Of course you can.” She said, smiling as she opened the door wider for Reira. How are you feeling?”

"Ok!" Good, excellent. Reira is trotting right in, the pillowcase bundle tight in her arms, while one hand carefully holds her drink. "...'m still a little sick, but this is supposed to make it stop," she explains, kicking the snow off her sneakers before trying to pull them off with her feet. She's learned the hard way that the consequence, otherwise, is Wet Floors.

Slippery floors, in fact.

Ow.

That said- "....The doctor said I had to be somewhere with 'supervision' though."

“So you came here for that. Don’t worry, Reira-neechan, I’ll make sure you’ll be okay!” Yuzu said, smiling reassuringly. Though, she does notice the pillowcase. “...your stuff?”

Yuya's sitting by the fireplace with hot cocoa, and when he hears Reira's voice he twists around and sits up to see her from around the chairs. The cure requires supervision...?

He sets his cocoa down and rolls to his feet, giving Reira a smile as he stands beside Yuzu. "That's right. I'm glad they found a cure that quickly!"

"Umnh...." She looks at the pillow case, looking to the side. "....Almost." Al...most?

Reira just walks further in, looking over to Yuuya. Ah...he's here too. Well. "Umnh....yeah! The doctor said people with poison rocks couldn't take it with the other one, since it was 'dangerous' that way.... ...but I didn't get that poison, so I just need this one."

"...They said I might get tired, so I guess that's why?" Kids, she's gonna get HAMMERED (And thus very tired, yes) "...I wanted to bring something else when I came here too though, while I could, since it was ready..."

"Best to be safe than sorry..." Yuzu said, nodding. "Don't worry, you do what you need to do." she chuckled a bit. "We'll all be here."

Yuya moves to close the door behind her, gesturing her forward. Make yourself at home, kid.

"Do you have to take it with anything, like food or water?" He's not entirely sure what the cure is, and he's even less sure Reira knows basic medical practice. But surely they'd tell her, just like they told her she'd be tired and need supervision.

"He said 'eating food might help with the effects', but I'm not really hungry..." It's odd.

"Mostly I just have to drink it though," she continues. Well. Making herself at home right now means very carefully tucking the pillow case under itself and resting it near a chair, before pausing to glance at....a tarp-covered thing at the side? That's kinda weird.

Whatever. She holds her bottle. "He had to make sure it was the right dose.... ...it smells a little like what a lot of adults here were drinking in the dining hall though," she adds, sniffing under the cap a bit before closing it up. The distinct smell of..............................alcohol. Is there.

It's alcohol, half the cure is Beer.

And that brief moment of the cap opening reaches Yuzu’s nose herself causing her face to wrinkle. “What the...?”

"Maybe just a couple cookies or crackers to help it go down?" Yuya watches her make her way into the cabin, but he misses the smell as he turns to head into the kitchenette for a half-eaten plate of cookies.

When he returns, he's eating one himself.

Pssssh it's fine Yuzu, just fine.

Fine.

Reira, putting the capped cure down, is far more interested in the cookies in any case, rushing toward Yuuya. "Um-!! ....I didn't know there were cookies..!" She exclaims, as if she should have.

"...Where are the rest...?"

As if providing a possible answer to that, the cabin door gets shoved open and-

"Oi..!" Yugo calls out, his usual greeting. "I'm back!"

Back from his spa time it seems, because one can see as his tail swishes behind him that it's entirely clear of stone... And sporting a different still-sharp tip on the end.

"The rest...?" Yuzu uttered. She didn't know where Gongenzaka had disappeared to, but...

...this was probably the first time she'd seen Yugo and...

"...whaaa..."

Yuya smiles and lowers the plate to her level. They're gingerbread.

"The rest of what?" Of the cookies? He's about to ask her to clarify, because the cookies would probably be obvious, when Yugo comes bursting in. Yuya jumps, turning to stare at him. But when he looks him over just as much excitement starts up in him.

"Yugo! You're not covered in stone anymore! That's great!"

Rest of the cookies, actually-Yuuya's figured out what it is, but before she can even GET her answer- (Well, the plate is an answer she supposes. THESE ARE HERS NOW-)

"Umnh..." Oh, hello. She looks from Yuzu, to Yuugo, blinking. "....I thought you were staying here together..."

Did someone move in without telling someone properly it feels like they might have.

Don't mind her acting on the feeling that you're confused by the way, Yuzu. Assumptions are easy when you're an empath.

"Yeah! The only other thing I have to do is drink this bottle they gave me, for curing the rest of the effects."

He pulls his own dose of cure out from his coat, safe and warm from the weather outside. Entirely oblivious to whatever problem there might be, it seems.

"And hey again Reira, you definitely saved me the time of finding you...!"

Definitely oblivious.

"Who...? Wha...?" Yuzu just stares in confusion before finally speaking up.

"Guys, who's he?"

HEY YUZU THIS IS YUGO NICE TO MEET HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME

Yuya turns to Yuzu, equally confused. "It's Yugo! You know, he asked to stay at our cabin a few days ago..." Wait.

He looks between Yuzu and Yugo quickly, leaving this whole plate of Gingerbread cookies in Reira's reach without thinking about it. "You two really haven't run into each other yet?!" He hopes when he talked to Yugo about Yuzu not recognizing him, he didn't take it to mean avoiding her...

Uh oh.

Crunch. Reira will just bite off a chunk of cookie, for now. "Mnhmn.... ....Yuugo used to look like Yuuya... ...He's the one that looks like him from the Synchro dimension," she explains somewhat casually. "....He was staying at my cabin, but then he had a fight with Foster, so we told him to stay somewhere else in case Foster asked him to punch him again." wh-

Well.

That aside. She looks to Yuugo. "....You were looking for me?"

"Wasn't my fault for just not being around so uh... hi Yuzu."

Awkward and late greeting is awkward. But certainly if one looks past the unnervingly lizard-like changes... well Yugo likely looks more like his Standard double's older brother than an identical twin.

"No... I... hadn't..." Yuzu uttered, before glaring at Yugo a bit before turning to Yuya. "He looks like you... if you were a lizard. Is that like with me and those other girls I've been told about?! And how long was I going to wait to find out?"

"Uh--" In his defense, he really didn't expect things to play out like this. "Yeah! He's like Yuto, you know, except he's been in the carnival a while, so..."

So, otherwise, he looks identical to Yuya. He rubs the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, I thought you two would have run into each other already! Yugo knew you were here."

Get under the bus, Yugo.

Munch, munch. Munch.

"...Didn't you ask us not to say anything about those things?" Reira innocently asks the other girl, taking her second cookie. Whatever. She's not sure she totally understands what Yuzu is upset about, and cookies might not help the sting go away, but they Are Nice.

Also. "....Yuugo, you didn't answer me..." What'd you want her for!!

"Oh yeah well...! Yuya didn't tell me when and how much he was gonna tell you, keeping secrets isn't really my best thing."

Maybe Yuya should get the wrath of that fan first.

"Er.. right. Yeah I would've been, Reira. Because I finished your present."

Topic change! Fall for the topic change!

"I... buh... guh..." Yuzu stammered. She did say that, didn't she? "Could you have at least introduced me to people without... I... ARGH!"

Aaaaand, she's brought out the paper fan and she has no idea who to hit - Yugo for not introducing himself sooner, Yuya for not mentioning him sooner, Reira for bringing up what she said or herself for coming up with the thing at all!

"ME AND MY BIG MOUTH!"
